Information About Cumulative Files for MSAT Students

As stated in the MSAT – Metro Transition Newsletter dated June 20, 2007; all cumulative files for MSAT students are being maintained by Envision Schools. If:

ü       a request for a cumulative file is received from another high school, the parents of that student will be contacted by the Envision Schools Enrollment Office before any files are sent to another school.

ü       a parent requests that their child’s records be sent to another school, we will first need to have the parents written authorization before any files are released. Please forward your request to:

Be sure to include your name, telephone number, and the address of your new school so that we may forward along your student files. You can also fax your request to 415-389-6103 or send an email with this information to the Enrollment Office at enrollmentoffice@envisionschools.org.

Please note:  Cumulative files can only be released to another educational institution. We cannot release the actual file to a parent or guardian.

The process detailed above is intended to protect student records from being misrouted or lost. Be assured; we will not release any student files (or release your spot at Metro) until a parent or legal guardian has given us the authorization to do so.
